began in 2005. The members of Northfield Arts wanted to try "something new." Their studio tours were quite popular but they failed to bring ALL the artists together in one place. It was out of this dilemma that a festival celebrating the arts --ARTSfest-- was born!
Some of the artists were also musicians. They proposed that we include live music as well. With the support of local food vendors, a festival environment was complete. ARTSfest was on it's way to becoming an annual celebration!
